Thick and chewy copycat chocolate chip cookies inspired by Crumbl, guaranteed to melt in your mouth.
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup cold, cubed butter
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream the cold, cubed butter with the light brown and granulated sugar until fluffy.
- Add in the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Stir in the semi-sweet chocolate chips.
- Scoop portions of dough and shape them into balls, placing them on the lined baking sheet with space between each.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden and the center remains soft.
- Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
Notes
For best results, use cold butter and avoid overmixing the dough for a chewy consistency.
