Description

Thick and chewy copycat chocolate chip cookies inspired by Crumbl, guaranteed to melt in your mouth.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup cold, cubed butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Cream the cold, cubed butter with the light brown and granulated sugar until fluffy.
  4. Add in the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  6. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  7. Stir in the semi-sweet chocolate chips.
  8. Scoop portions of dough and shape them into balls, placing them on the lined baking sheet with space between each.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden and the center remains soft.
  10. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

Notes

For best results, use cold butter and avoid overmixing the dough for a chewy consistency.
