Ingredients
- 1 cup cold butter, cubed
- 1 1/4 cups light brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the cold cubed butter, light brown sugar, and granulated sugar until well combined and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the mixture and mix until fully incorporated.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until combined.
- Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips.
- Scoop the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. Let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
