Ingredients

  • ½ cup dark cocoa powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar (for rolling)
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup vegetable or canola oil


Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vegetable oil until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly between each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  3. Gradually mix in dark cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt until a thick dough forms.
  4. Transfer the dough to an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  5. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  6. Roll the chilled dough into balls and coat each ball in powdered sugar.
  7. Arrange the dough balls on the prepared baking sheet, leaving enough space between them.
