Ingredients

- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs

- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and fluffy.
- Beat in vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Drop cookie dough by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets, leaving space to spread.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden around the edges.
- Transfer to wire racks to cool before enjoying.
