Description

Delicious thin and crispy chocolate chip cookies that are easy to make and perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup softened butter
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl; mix into the butter mixture gradually.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Drop rounded tablespoons of cookie dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  8. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
