Ingredients
- 115g unsalted butter, room temperature
- 160g light brown sugar
- 40g granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 270g all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 200g chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a large bowl, cream together the unsalted butter, light brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the egg and add the vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Scoop large portions of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them out evenly.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden but the center is soft.
- Let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
