Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups chocolate chips (semi-sweet or dark)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your ingredients.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the vanilla extract and eggs, mixing in one egg at a time.
- Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients until just mixed.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized amounts of dough onto a lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until the edges are lightly golden.
