Description

Indulge in these thick and fudgy chocolate brownie cookies that combine the textures of brownies and cookies into one delicious treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until well combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto baking sheets lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers are soft.
  9. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.

Notes

For the best flavor, use high-quality chocolate chips. Don’t overbake to maintain a fudgy texture. Allow cookies to cool before storing.
