Description

Delightfully thick and chewy chocolate chip cookies that are perfect for satisfying your sweet cravings.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the flour and baking soda; set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, using a hand mixer, cream the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt until fluffy, about 2 minutes.
  4. Add the vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, mixing until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture until just combined.
  6. Stir in the chocolate chips with a spatula or wooden spoon.
  7. Drop large spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden (cookies will look soft in the center).
  9. Let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Store in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days at room temperature. Chill the dough for thicker cookies.
