Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed light-brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups semisweet and/or milk chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the flour and baking soda; set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, using a mixer, cream the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the vanilla and eggs until combined.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  7. Drop tablespoon-sized dough balls onto baking sheets.
