Description
Delightful chocolate chip cookies, golden and gooey, with melty chocolate oozing from every bite.
Ingredients
- 350 g all-purpose flour
- 100 g granulated sugar
- 130 g brown sugar
- 175 g butter or margarine
- 200 g chocolate chips or roughly chopped chocolate
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 2 eggs
Instructions
- Gather all your ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
- Mix the ingredients together to form a uniform dough.
- Divide the dough into three equal sections and roll each into a log about 3 cm in diameter.
- Wrap the logs in plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
- Preheat the oven to 150°C (300°F).
- Cut the chilled logs into slices about 1.5 to 2 cm thick.
- Roll each slice into a ball for a fluffy cookie shape.
- Line baking sheets with parchment paper and place the cookie balls on them.
- Bake in the middle rack of the preheated oven for about 15 minutes.
- Remove from oven and cool on a wire rack.
- Store cookies in an airtight container or cookie jar.
Notes
Store at room temperature for 3-4 days, refrigerate for up to a week, or freeze for up to 2 months.
