Description

Delightful chocolate chip cookies, golden and gooey, with melty chocolate oozing from every bite.


Ingredients

  • 350 g all-purpose flour
  • 100 g granulated sugar
  • 130 g brown sugar
  • 175 g butter or margarine
  • 200 g chocolate chips or roughly chopped chocolate
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 2 eggs


Instructions

  1. Gather all your ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Mix the ingredients together to form a uniform dough.
  3. Divide the dough into three equal sections and roll each into a log about 3 cm in diameter.
  4. Wrap the logs in plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  5. Preheat the oven to 150°C (300°F).
  6. Cut the chilled logs into slices about 1.5 to 2 cm thick.
  7. Roll each slice into a ball for a fluffy cookie shape.
  8. Line baking sheets with parchment paper and place the cookie balls on them.
  9. Bake in the middle rack of the preheated oven for about 15 minutes.
  10. Remove from oven and cool on a wire rack.
  11. Store cookies in an airtight container or cookie jar.

Notes

Store at room temperature for 3-4 days, refrigerate for up to a week, or freeze for up to 2 months.
