Description

A delicious salmon recipe with a sweet and savory glaze, perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons butter (melted)
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, soy sauce, melted butter, honey, garlic powder, black pepper, and paprika until smooth.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet and brush generously with half of the glaze mixture, coating the tops and sides.
  4. Bake the salmon for 8 minutes, then remove it from the oven and brush with the remaining glaze mixture.
  5. Return the salmon to the oven and bake for an additional 8-10 minutes, until it flakes easily with a fork and the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
  6. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 2 minutes. Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Pat the salmon dry to help the glaze stick. Adjust the sweetness by modifying the amount of honey.
