A hearty and flavorful one-pot chili perfect for gatherings or cozy nights in.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
- 3 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup beef broth
Instructions
- In a large pot over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the pot. Cook until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in the chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for another minute.
- Add the kidney beans, black beans, diced tomatoes, and beef broth. Bring to a simmer.
- Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for at least 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary. Serve hot.
Notes
For extra flavor, top with shredded cheese, diced onions, or sour cream. Pairs well with warm bread or corn muffins.
