Description

Enjoy the deliciously nostalgic taste of Subway-style cookies with this easy-to-follow recipe. Crisp on the outside, chewy on the inside, these cookies are perfect for any dessert lover.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips (or your preferred mix-ins)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this to the wet mixture, mixing just until combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips (or your preferred mix-ins).
  6. Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden and the centers look slightly underbaked.
  8. Remove from the oven and let them cool on the sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.

Notes

Use room temperature butter for a creamier texture. Consider chilling the dough for 30 minutes before baking for thicker cookies.
