Description

These cookies are a magical blend of textures with crispy edges and a gooey center, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, beat together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed in the dough.
  6. Scoop out portions of the dough and place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving ample space between each cookie.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 14 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden, while the centers should remain soft.
  8. Remove from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

To keep cookies soft, avoid overbaking and store them in an airtight container.
