Ingredients
- 1 cup softened unsalted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream the sugars and butter together until smooth and creamy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time and then add the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips with a spatula or spoon.
- Drop generous spoonfuls of dough onto ungreased baking pans, spaced about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until golden around the edges and slightly soft in the center.
- Let the cookies cool on the pans for a few minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.
