Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
- Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually blend into the creamed mixture.
- Finally, stir in the chocolate chips.
- Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake for 9 to 11 minutes in the preheated oven, or until edges are nicely browned.
- Let cool on wire racks.
