Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the flour, cocoa powder, and salt, mixing until well combined.
- Roll the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Flatten each ball slightly with a fork.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are firm.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Store cookies at room temperature for up to 5 days or refrigerate for 7-10 days. Freeze for up to 2 months.
