A quick and tasty dish featuring tender salmon fillets topped with a bright lemon dill sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners or gatherings.
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 lemon (juice and zest)
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill (chopped)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
- Place salmon in the skillet skin-side down and cook for 4-5 minutes until golden brown. Flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, mix lemon juice, lemon zest, dill, garlic, and melted butter.
- Pour the lemon dill sauce over the salmon in the skillet and cook for an additional minute.
- Serve hot with a garnish of extra dill and lemon slices.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat gently in a skillet.
