A quick and delicious meal combining creamy Alfredo sauce with smoky salmon, perfect for busy weeknights or special occasions.
Ingredients
- 8 oz fettuccine or pasta of your choice
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 6 oz smoked salmon, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Add the Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and the sauce thickens.
- Stir in the smoked salmon and season with salt and pepper.
- Toss the cooked pasta in the sauce until well coated.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
Notes
For extra flavor, add lemon juice or zest. Substitute smoked salmon with fresh salmon if preferred. Any pasta shape works beautifully.
