Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- 1 cup chopped nuts (such as walnuts or pecans)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract until fully combined.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips, mini marshmallows, and chopped nuts until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
- Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them a couple of inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set while keeping the centers soft and chewy.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
