A delicious and easy vanilla cake perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1/2 cup of butter, softened
- 1 cup of milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon of baking powder
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix the softened butter and sugar until creamy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk. Mix until smooth.
- Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let it cool before serving.
Notes
For a fluffier cake, beat the eggs separately before adding them. You can also add chocolate chips or nuts for extra flavor.
