- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, cocoa powder, milk, and butter.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture comes to a boil.
- Let it boil without stirring for about 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and nuts if using.
- Pour the fudge into a greased 8-inch square pan.
- Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
