Ingredients
- 1 cup softened salted butter
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ cup packed brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- Nutella (for filling)
Instructions
- Line a tray with parchment paper and dollop teaspoon-sized Nutella. Freeze to firm.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C) and prepare baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream butter with granulated and brown sugar until light and fluffy (2-3 minutes).
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well. Stir in vanilla extract.
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, and baking soda in a separate bowl.
- Gradually incorporate dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined.
- Take 1 tablespoon of dough, flatten it, place a dollop of Nutella in the center, and seal with more dough.
- Place on baking sheets and bake for 9-11 minutes until edges are golden.
- Cool on baking sheet for 2-3 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
