Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup milk (or non-dairy alternative)
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the sugar, vegetable oil, milk, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until a soft dough forms.
- Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, making sure they are about 2 inches apart.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are just golden.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

For best results, measure your flour accurately and consider adding citrus zest or chocolate chips for variation.
