Description

A hearty, flavorful chili that’s perfect for low-carb and paleo diets. Packed with proteins and vegetables.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb sausage
  • 1/2 lb bacon, chopped
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings: avocado, cilantro, lime


Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, add ground beef and sausage, cooking until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add onion and garlic, cooking until softened.
  4. Stir in diced tomatoes, beef broth, chili powder, cumin, and smoked paprika.
  5. Bring the chili to a simmer, then cover and cook for 30-45 minutes.
  6. Season with salt and pepper, and stir in the bacon before serving.
  7. Serve with optional toppings if desired.
