Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb sausage
- 1/2 lb bacon, chopped
- 1 large onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional toppings: avocado, cilantro, lime
Instructions
- In a large pot, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pot, add ground beef and sausage, cooking until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add onion and garlic, cooking until softened.
- Stir in diced tomatoes, beef broth, chili powder, cumin, and smoked paprika.
- Bring the chili to a simmer, then cover and cook for 30-45 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper, and stir in the bacon before serving.
- Serve with optional toppings if desired.
