Description
Delicious Hungarian Langos made effortlessly in an air fryer, combining the tastes of pizza and potato pancakes.
Ingredients
- 500g all-purpose flour
- 250ml warm water
- 7g active dry yeast
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 100g sour cream
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Garlic (optional)
- Cheese (optional)
- Sour cream (for serving)
Instructions
- In a bowl, dissolve the yeast and sugar in warm water and let it sit for about 10 minutes until foamy.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture, sour cream, and olive oil.
- Mix until a dough forms and knead for about 5-7 minutes.
- Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Preheat the air fryer to 180°C (356°F).
- Punch down the dough and divide it into small pieces. Roll each piece into a flat round shape.
- Place the rounds in the air fryer basket in a single layer and cook for about 5-8 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm, topped with garlic, cheese, or sour cream as desired.
Notes
For alternatives, you can use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream and add herbs or cinnamon sugar for different flavors.
