Description
Juicy and tender Kalbi Chicken Legs marinated in a sweet and savory sauce, cooked to golden perfection in an air fryer.
Ingredients
- 6 chicken quarters
- 1/2 apple
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup mirin
- 2 inches of ginger
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 2 stalks of green onion
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 tbsp sweetener
- 1 tsp pepper
- Sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Marinade: Combine the apple, soy sauce, mirin, ginger, garlic, green onion, sesame oil, rice vinegar, sweetener, and pepper in a blender. Blend until smooth.
- Marinate the Chicken: Place the chicken legs in a bowl or zip-top bag, pour the marinade over, and massage gently. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Air Fry the Chicken: Remove chicken from marinade and place in the air fryer. Cook for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through to ensure even cooking.
- Serve: Allow the chicken to rest for a couple of minutes before serving. Top with sesame seeds if desired.
