Description

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the flour and baking soda; set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, using a mixer, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt until smooth.
  4. Add the vanilla and eggs, and mix until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  9. Let cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
