Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
- In a small bowl, whisk together the flour and baking soda; set aside.
- In a large bowl, using a mixer, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt until smooth.
- Add the vanilla and eggs, and mix until well combined.
- Gradually add the flour mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
- Let cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
