Description

Cozy and delightful blondies infused with cinnamon and sweetness from honey, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, divided
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar (for topping)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the melted butter and brown sugar until well combined.
  3. Add the egg, honey, and vanilla extract, whisking until smooth.
  4. Stir in the flour, salt, and ½ teaspoon of cinnamon until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  5. Pour the batter into your prepared baking pan.
  6. In a small bowl, mix the remaining ½ teaspoon of cinnamon with the granulated sugar. Sprinkle this mixture over the top of the batter.
  7. Bake for 22–25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature, with ice cream for an extra treat.
