Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup Halloween sprinkles
- Optional: candy eyes
Instructions
- Combine melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar in a mixing bowl until smooth.
- Add egg and vanilla extract; blend until cohesive.
- Incorporate flour, salt, and baking soda, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in Halloween sprinkles and chocolate chips.
- Scoop dough onto a baking sheet, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 1.5 to 2 hours.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and arrange dough balls on a lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 11 to 13 minutes until edges are golden brown.
- Add candy eyes while cookies are warm (if using).
- Cool on baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
