Description

A delightful fusion of a grilled cheese sandwich and a hearty burrito, perfect for a quick lunch or dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning (or homemade blend)
  • 1 cup cooked white rice
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup nacho cheese sauce
  • 1/4 cup chipotle sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • Butter or oil for grilling

Instructions

  1. Cook the Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef for 8–10 minutes. Drain excess grease, add taco seasoning and 1/4 cup of water, and simmer for about 5 minutes.
  2. Warm the Tortillas: Warm the tortillas on a dry skillet or in the microwave.
  3. Assemble the Burrito: Lay a tortilla flat and layer with cooked rice, seasoned beef, nacho cheese, chipotle sauce, sour cream, and top with shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
  4. Grill the Burrito: Heat a skillet with about 2 tablespoons of shredded cheese. Place the burrito seam-side down and cook until the cheese melts into a crispy crust, about 3–4 minutes per side.

Notes

Serve hot with extra sour cream, salsa, or guacamole. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
