Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- ⅓ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- ½ cup plain full-fat Greek yogurt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy.
- Mix in the egg, Greek yogurt, and vanilla until smooth.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture; fold gently until just combined.
- Stir in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Scoop dough onto prepared baking sheets about two inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are golden but the centers remain soft.
