Description

Delightful chocolate chip cookies infused with creamy Greek yogurt for a moist and rich texture.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ⅓ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup plain full-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy.
  4. Mix in the egg, Greek yogurt, and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture; fold gently until just combined.
  6. Stir in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  7. Scoop dough onto prepared baking sheets about two inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are golden but the centers remain soft.
  9. Allow to cool slightly before enjoying.

Notes

For softer cookies, consider adding a tablespoon of milk to the dough if too thick. Using high-quality chocolate chips will enhance the flavor.
