Description

These Giant Chocolate Chip Cookies are the ultimate comfort food, perfectly crisp on the edges and irresistibly soft in the center, making them a crowd-pleaser at any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter (2 sticks), softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 ½ cups brown sugar
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 8 oz chopped chocolate (dark, milk, or semi-sweet)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Incorporate the two eggs one at a time, followed by mixing in the salt.
  4. Whisk together the flour and baking soda, then gradually add to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chopped chocolate until evenly distributed.
  6. Portion out the dough into giant balls (about 1/4 cup each) and place on a lined baking sheet, leaving space for spreading.
