A quick and delicious Garlic Parmesan Shrimp recipe made in the air fryer, perfect for impressing guests or treating yourself.
Ingredients
- 500g shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup parmesan cheese, freshly grated
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- If using frozen shrimp, thaw them completely first and dry them with a paper towel.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a small pan over medium heat. Sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 to 2 minutes.
- In a medium bowl, combine grated parmesan, panko, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir in sautéed garlic and lemon juice.
- In a larger bowl, toss shrimp with the remaining olive oil to coat them.
- Coat each shrimp with the parmesan-panko mixture evenly.
- Preheat the air fryer to 200 degrees Celsius.
- Place the coated shrimp in the air fryer basket in a single layer and air fry for about 8 to 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
- Remove from the air fryer, sprinkle with fresh parsley and squeeze lemon juice before serving.
Notes
Serve immediately for the best texture and taste. Can be paired with a salad or rice.
