Description

A quick and delicious Garlic Parmesan Shrimp recipe made in the air fryer, perfect for impressing guests or treating yourself.


Ingredients

  • 500g shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese, freshly grated
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. If using frozen shrimp, thaw them completely first and dry them with a paper towel.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a small pan over medium heat. Sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 to 2 minutes.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine grated parmesan, panko, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir in sautéed garlic and lemon juice.
  4. In a larger bowl, toss shrimp with the remaining olive oil to coat them.
  5. Coat each shrimp with the parmesan-panko mixture evenly.
  6. Preheat the air fryer to 200 degrees Celsius.
  7. Place the coated shrimp in the air fryer basket in a single layer and air fry for about 8 to 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
  8. Remove from the air fryer, sprinkle with fresh parsley and squeeze lemon juice before serving.

Notes

Serve immediately for the best texture and taste. Can be paired with a salad or rice.
