Description

Delicious, crispy potato balls that are easy to make in the air fryer, perfect as snacks or appetizers.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups mashed potatoes
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese (cheddar recommended)
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray or oil for air frying


Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed potatoes, cheese, green onions, salt, and pepper.
  2. Form small balls out of the mixture, about the size of a golf ball.
  3. Roll the balls in breadcrumbs to coat them.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  5. Lightly spray the fryer basket with cooking spray.
  6. Place the potato balls in the basket with space between them.
  7. Spray the tops with cooking spray.
  8. Cook for about 10-15 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden brown and crispy.
  9. Serve warm.

Notes

Avoid making the balls too large and ensure to preheat the air fryer for best results.
