Delicious, crispy potato balls that are easy to make in the air fryer, perfect as snacks or appetizers.
Ingredients
- 2 cups mashed potatoes
- 1/2 cup grated cheese (cheddar recommended)
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons chopped green onions (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray or oil for air frying
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed potatoes, cheese, green onions, salt, and pepper.
- Form small balls out of the mixture, about the size of a golf ball.
- Roll the balls in breadcrumbs to coat them.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Lightly spray the fryer basket with cooking spray.
- Place the potato balls in the basket with space between them.
- Spray the tops with cooking spray.
- Cook for about 10-15 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve warm.
Notes
Avoid making the balls too large and ensure to preheat the air fryer for best results.
