Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey
  • 1 can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups beef or vegetable broth
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking


Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onion, bell pepper, and garlic; sauté until soft.
  3. Add ground beef or turkey and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  5. Add kidney beans, black beans, diced tomatoes, and broth.
