Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup teriyaki sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 2 cups vegetables (like bell peppers or broccoli)
- Cooked rice or noodles for serving
- Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
- Scallions for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
- In a bowl, mix together teriyaki sauce, garlic, and ginger. Pour the mixture over the chicken.
- Add the vegetables on top of the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 360 minutes or on high for 240 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
- Shred the chicken (if desired) and stir to combine with the sauce and vegetables.
- Serve over rice or noodles and garnish with sesame seeds and scallions if desired.
Notes
For a thicker sauce, mix the sauce with a cornstarch slurry after cooking. Customize the vegetables based on preference.
