Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers are still soft.
