Description

Delicious, gooey cookies bursting with chocolatey goodness, perfect for indulgence or gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup bittersweet chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then mix in the vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the creamed mixture, stirring until well combined.
  5. Fold in the bittersweet chocolate chips.
  6. Drop rounded portions of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them apart.
  7. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are firm but the centers remain soft.
  8. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for 3 to 4 days or refrigerate for up to a week. Cookies can also be frozen for up to 2 months.
