Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a pie dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt until combined.
- In another bowl, cream the softened butter with granulated and brown sugars until smooth.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla into the butter mixture.
- Gradually stir in the flour mixture until just combined, then fold in chocolate chips and nuts.
- Pour the dough into the greased pie dish, spreading evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and set in the center.
