Description

Delightful cookies featuring rich chocolate chips and a perfect balance of chewy and crunchy textures, inspired by renowned chef Cyril Lignac.

Ingredients

  • 250g all-purpose flour
  • 125g unsalted butter, softened
  • 100g granulated sugar
  • 100g brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 200g chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing just until combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden.
  8. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
