Ingredients
- 250g all-purpose flour
- 125g unsalted butter, softened
- 100g granulated sugar
- 100g brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 200g chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing just until combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
