Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix the flour and baking soda; set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt.
- Add in the vanilla extract and eggs, mixing until well combined.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Scoop tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.

Notes
For a twist, add nuts or use different types of chocolate chips. Best served warm with milk or ice cream.
