Ingredients
- 1 package of crescent dough
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Unroll the crescent dough and press it into the bottom of a greased baking pan to form a crust.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and egg until smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent dough.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the edges are golden and the filling is set.
- Let it cool, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
For best results, use room temperature cream cheese for a smooth filling. Allow bars to cool completely before cutting for clean slices.
