Ingredients

- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed

- 2 large eggs
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually blend this dry mixture into the creamed mixture until just combined, avoiding overmixing.
- Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased cookie sheets, leaving space for spreading.
