Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 cup walnuts, chopped


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, and stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually blend the dry mixture into the creamed mixture until just incorporated.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped walnuts until evenly distributed.
  7. Drop dollops of cookie dough onto ungreased cookie sheets.
