Delicious and healthier chocolate chip cookies made without butter, using coconut oil for a delightful twist.
Ingredients
- 1 cup coconut oil
- 1 cup brown sugar
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine coconut oil, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smoothly incorporated.
- Add in the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until creamy.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop rounded spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden brown.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
