Delicious chocolate chip cookies that are soft and chewy, made without brown sugar for a sweet treat everyone will love.
Ingredients
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the egg, milk, and vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until well combined.
- Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 9-11 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
- Let cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
Notes
For best results, use softened butter and measure flour accurately.
