Ingredients
- 1 cup softened butter
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare baking sheets.
- Cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and fluffy.
- Beat in the vanilla extract and eggs one at a time.
- Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the butter mixture until fully incorporated.
- Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets.
- Bake for 9 to 11 minutes until the edges are golden brown.
- Let cool on baking sheets before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
