Ingredients

  • 1 cup softened butter
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare baking sheets.
  2. Cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the vanilla extract and eggs one at a time.
  4. Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the butter mixture until fully incorporated.
  6. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets.
