Description

A classic recipe for chewy and crispy chocolate chip cookies, perfect for sharing and bringing joy to your loved ones.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix these dry ingredients into the wet mixture until fully combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie.
  7. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  8. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to wire racks.

Notes

Store cookies at room temperature in an airtight container for up to 1 week. For longer storage, refrigerate for 3 to 4 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
